Passenger door doesnt unlock with central locking

Passenger door often takes a few tries with the key fob to unlock. Sometimes have to re-lock the driver door and then try again. It works eventually but its pretty irritating.

Anyone had this problem or have any ideas as to how to fix?

What is "selective unlock"? two quick successive presses normally just unlocks driver side door. then I lock and try again (sometimes a few times) and it opens. Seems more of a fault than a setting due to how erratic it is.

Just did a quick search and you seem to be spot on. Same symptoms...

It's easily repaired, there is a guy advertising a repair service on ebay for £33.49.
 
find my recent thread on this. had mine done by eBay chap a couple of weeks ago. problem solved and very good service. easy to get GM5 unit out but perhaps a bit daunting if you're not a spanner monkey. let me know if you need any pointers

I did it too, but the relays were £12 each so for an extra £10 I let someone else do the soldering job and get a guarantee.
 
you did well. I couldn't find the correct relays anywhere for under £12 and they were from Germany
