Parrot MKIi9200 and business system

Will Have on friday he turned up today but the cable was incorrect! Quite pleased he said he will not have to put any holes anywhere.
The screen is going at the side of the centre air vent. Im not sure wether to have it on the left or right yet as on the right it will be slightly impaired by the steering wheel.
shall try and post some pics for you and of my car seen as ive had it over a week now

Is there a hole in the dash to have the screen that high up? thanks too as you saved me posting the pics.

I paid £240 all in.

No holes on mine, screen & remote secured using the supplied sticky pads.

Seem to recall somebody mentioning £15 for the MFSW connector. thinking about a retro fit option.....

Nope, Think i read that the wiring is all there for it in 2003 cars. But the wheel looks like quite an expensive mod as i would have no idea how to connect it up lol

Thanks for that, I thought he said today that the screen had a wire to it ,but the remote was wireless will check with him.

screen has a wire - if you look on the underside of the screen in my third photo, you'll see it.

remote is remote.....

Ok thats what i thought ,but do like the idea of the screen being where yours is so will see if he can do it there with no holes.

I have the 9200 and I installed it myself, rather easy actually, only takes 25 mins once you manage to remove the aircon vents. You definetly don't need to cut anything or drill any holes.

I have the screen in the same place as Reggie, and I find it fairly good, although sometimes hard to see when the top is down and sun is shining. was thinking of relocating it to the lower side of the dash, just above the OBD2 port (as it may be easier to see, and I don't care if passengers can see it or not).

Taz - the screen displays track name, artist and album name. And it is very easy to navigate, (although i prefer to use a $5 USB stick, opposed to paying for an ipod to live in the car). I use the parrot remote mounted just behind the handbrake where the I-drive would be. However i do think steering wheel control would be more convenient.

If the Unika kit isn't too expensive I might Buy 1 today and retrofit. its been a few weeks since i fitted something

PS there are a few more pics of the parrot in my sig...

ok after an hour searching it seems the best price I can find for the parrot unika is around $200USD delivered... thats the same price I payed for the whole mki9200, what a joke!!

if anyone finds one for a better price please post a link to it here. Thanks
