I saw a post about noise from rear to seemingly every thing was fine and possible wheel bearing.....only to narrow it down to a chuffed brake pad for the emergency/parking brake.
Hear is where I'm a lil bit confused. As I applied the emergency/parking brake (out of curiosity) and put it in neutral and it held just fine, no slip (also note the driveway is a slight incline and car parked pointing up). In drive at idle it still held but moved forward about a half foot but stuck still. In reverse it seemed to not hold any at all tho it should have.
Am I off my rocker or should it not also hold in reverse if applied?
Making me wonder if the pad is broke free from the rivets. Or some other beast I'm going to have to get looked at and add it to the list of things to get this hussy right.
