Not sure about that. I have toyed with the idea of carbon skinning the hoops or painting them but I am still not sure about them so have left them standard for now. On my black car I like the contrast the satin silver gives especially with the top up when looking into the car from behind. My next carbon fiber experiment will be the steering wheel, I have picked up a cheap steering wheel of some fast Renault from eBay to practise on but that has to wait as I am dealing with the subwoofer install right now!
I painted my hoops in a Matt gun metal to match the wheels and exhaust tips, I am happy with the result, the car is black sapphire and it gives a slightly more stealthy appearance. So stealthy in fact I'm not even gonna post a pic
