As my Independent has again said that my discs and pads are fine for this season . . . I'm going to paint my calipers and hubs. Hubs silver but what colour do folk think for the calipers on a stratus grey roadster?
I've my mind set on bronze but I can't find a paint suitable - there's 'hammered' finish hammerite, in copper, that might work. The earlier comments on gold looking like rust eventually, put me off but initially I fancied that colour.
The stratus grey is an awkward colour to compliment - maybe yellow (it's in the paint flakes?)
And hammered or smooth hammerite? :?
OP - I did my silver grey Zed's calipers and hubs in silver and as already said - they look new and fresh when done that colour
I may simply do the same on my stratus grey Zed - we shall see. . . .
