Paint flaking concern

Ive noticed a couple of little paint flakes coming off my car...probably caused by stonechips initially. What concerns me though is that the metal underneath looks rusty. The metal is still solid though... At the moment.
I wouldnt have thought this acceptable on a 10 year old car that has been garaged all its life and meticulously cared for and given the new cost of such a vehicle.
Can anyone tell me what warranties or guarantee the paintwork has and whether a bmw garage would address this at their cost...

E46's have 12yr paint warranty its hard claiming but worth a try so I imagine the same is for Z4 too if you contact bmw dealer. If you have Bmw FSH shouldnt be an issue getting warranty

Unless you've had work done elsewhere than BMW - if there is any sign of overspray etc then BMW forgo the warranty route on that panel. They also come out with a paint depth meter to check!
