Owner for 5 days. Passenger side totalled!

Yeah Nd the roof won't close over the passenger glass. Don't think it'll be a right off.

TBH i would not be surprised if it was written off.

Sorry for you, but hopefully sorted one way or the other quickly.

almost certainly an uneconomic repair so will be written off as it would appear both a and b posts are damaged, so the structure is badly compromised.

Best be prepared to collect plenty of advertisements to prove the value as the offer will always be lower than you expect.

Sorry for ya mate :( :(

similar thing happened to a mate at work in his M3
he used some 3rd party company to sort everything out
his insurance was not notified or touched in anyway - everything came out of the other parties insurance - he even has a new m3 as a loan car whilst his is being repaired by copper bmw

Cheers everyone. Off to a and e because my back's killing. I don't agree with false claims as it pushes our insurance up but in this case I might be doing.

The more think about it, the more I'm gutted. I spent ages trying to find the right one from a BMW dealer with the right history. Don't think that will be easily replaced. I paid £10,486 for it 5 days ago.

What a crappy thing to happen :(

At least you should be able to get a full recovery on the cost.

Exactly.

Get yourself on the BMW site and autotrader and start printing off adverts just in case. Then you have a bargaining tool.
