Hi,
Driving along in my Facelift e85 Roadster approx. 90K on A3 last night when I hear beep and look down to see temperature gauge on the max. Pulled over as quickly as could, Water leaking on to the road below, looked like from the cap. Had it trailered back to my house.
Looking at Forum it appears most likely to be Water Pump so will order one up for mechanic to fit however this morning I put it in bleed mode and it made all the right sounds and also when up to temperature fan came on. Diagnostic codes using generic code reader showed Injectors 1,2,3 and 6 as Voltage in onboard electrical system > 10v Terminal 15, Engine On Injector Control Monitor. Check wiring, Repair if defective. If wiring OK proceed to check component.
Just wondered if had any other thoughts and indeed if the two issues are connected. Should say car was running absolutely fine before this.
On another note I assume you fill coolant through radiator cap although struggling to get it off in this rain.
Cheers
for any help.
Nick
