Options/upgrades that make a difference ?

BTW as the offset on the front 224m wheels I've fitted to my non m are pushing the wheels slightly in by a few mil is it worth adding spacers to bring them back out to where they were with the 108's or slightly more!
I would push the wheels out as far as you safely can with hub-centric spacers without fouling on the arch liners or protruding beyond the wheel arches. You need to use longer wheel bolts in the process.

You are increasing the scrub radius by doing this so steering effort could increase as could tyre wear.

Theoretically that's correct, but with power steering on a Z4, any increase in steering effort is not going to be noticed. Likewise, any reduction in lateral bodyroll with a slightly wider track width will prevent the increased tyre wear that can occur on the edges of the tyres with lateral bodyroll. We're not talking of making a DTM car here with an increased track width of several inches requiring the redesign/remanufacture of the entire suspension.

Hi,
I haven't modified the suspension like others on here , but that's where I would start given the chance.
There's some interesting info backed up by proper measurement here, its in a few parts, which cover engine tuning, suspension, exhaust

If I could do it all over again suspension is what I would have done too. Aeros and CSLs are not where owners should be putting their hard earned. Hindsight is a great thing. <sigh>

Depends on your requirements really, I really like the look of the CSL's and wouldn't blame anyone for putting them on :)
