Opinions on this please?

Okay so the xenon's being a little pants is a bit of a disappointment but i assume they are still better than the halogen lights i would have had in my old Z4.

I am hoping to go and see the car in the next few days. I am hoping that the last service was an inspection 2, giving me a reasonable next service also

They aren't that bad but they aren't as good as other manufacturer's effort's

Did you get round to viewing it?

As an owner of an auto z4c, I can say the autobox is solid and offers up plenty of options if you know how to use it!
- In normal auto mode you have the vanilla autobox like any other
- Also the ability to override temporarily using paddle shifters (which puts it back into D if you're not constantly using the paddles after 10sec or so)
- You have the ability to also run it in manual (like tiptronic from MB) where it stays in whichever manual gear you -/+ into. I find this particularly good if you really want to save on petrol as you can ride around in 4/5/6 easily at low speed and it'll only drop down a gear if you hit 1k rpm, unlike normal mode which seems to drop down at about 1.6k rpm. Paddles work here too.
- Auto-Sport, the fun one.. This mode gives you the best kicks. Revs 2-5k and the throttle response is first class, always fun to switch it on when driving some nice roads but I tend not to use it too much to preserve the fun.
- Kick down, it's worth a mention as it gets you to 62mph in 5.9sec. Power and is continuous all the way to 62 when you use kick down, which of course comes as a nice bonus in the auto.

When I was looking for my z4c I was specifically after an auto; there's not a great deal available as the majority that made it into three UK were manual. Took a little while to find mine as I was after sat nav, black leather seats, and the autobox, all in a coupe with ~25k on the clock.

Mines just done 31k (bought in summer 2012 @ 26k on clock), 56-plate. Still sounds and smells like new, and I'm sure it'll go on for many many more years!

I think 10k for what you've found is fair. The milage is a little high but its a solid motor in and out. They're 6-9 years old now too, so getting harder to find an example with low mileage. With the exception of the built in nav which also give you nice feedback on mpg, range, temps, audio, it seems to have the rest of the required kit. 108's are a nice bonus, although I've never been a fan of red leather. Has the 6-cd changer which is good, always annoys me having to switch through CDs manually.

Let us know how you get on...
