A couple of videos of most of the route have been posted in the Oopnürthring thread on PistonHeads. I'm sure he's deviated slightly from my original route, but my posted route is just one of about 20 different loops I create when I do it, some being 20 miles of single, sheep-infested moorland roads over the top near Kielder, and others being 100 mile mixed-road blasts.
Some of the route in the video looks VERY bumpy and would not be much fun - last time I did this route I was in a lardy e34 M5 which soaked up the bumps much better than the Z4MC.

I've just had a look at the midlands breakfast club thread and i am tempted to come too.
Maybe we should just go to that and have a SouthYorkshire meet on a different day? As it seems a lot of the regular members will be at the breakfast club...

Looks like t20lau has put a lot of effort into starting the thread, getting everyone's opinions and then arranging something around the date that most people voted for (26th). Then people who can't make it on this date appear to have undermined all his/her good work but adding endless comments about the fact that they're unhappy about the date chosen. There's democracy at work.

This is a shame, but the selected date clashed with one that Ben arranged, has been listed in the Events and has been promoting since Mid Janaury. Even when pointed out the clash by mmm-five and then myself the date remained fixed, so in a small community it was somewhat inevitable that splitting over 2 events would never work, or at least reduce the numbers.
I do echo the hope that it does not put t20lau off arranging more, as I'm always up for meeting and driving events.
