One thing you miss...

I miss the supercharger whine from my old Cooper S - the low end acceleration from it aswell. Xenon lights and the full cat-back Milltek system I had on it. It sounded like a proper hot hatch.... :D

I could say removable roof (see signature).........................................................................................but I'd be lying :D :driving:

I miss absolutely nothing at all ... well never had the iDrive, have to take a new BMW for a spin with the iDrive to see if I would miss it :)

The outside air temperature sensor on my 1998 Z3 worked better. The Z4 seems to have a very long/artificial delay or averaging built in that I find annoying. That's about it!

The turbo, and the bonkers sounds it made when abruptly closing the throttle (akin to a crazy pidgeon).

That said the Z4 was a step forward in every other way except for straight line grunt.

+1

5 seats, enormous boot, comfort suspension (on the way to work I really don't appreciate the hard ride) and the equivalent of 40mpg from a V6 petrol that I got thanks to her LPG conversion, oh, and of course as any Ford owner will tell you, the heated front windscreen!

Hope someone's looking after you my faithful old Mondeo W573 SGB!
