One thing you miss...

The ability to go off road and not worry about obstacles ripping apart my car.
Curb hopping
The beautiful sound of a flowmaster exhaust (on a 4.3L V-6 with Vortec)
Putting a bed, couch, etc in the bed of the truck
Surprising all the people in the sports cars that think the truck only had a 4 banger and them realizing they would have to work hard to pass me.

Soft ride comfort
5 seats
Ipod integration through the iDrive
M5 Replica wheels
Msport bumper

Damn, I miss my old car now.

The BOSE sound system in my 350Z was awesome and I really miss it - nothing in the Z4 can rival it, though I've not heard the Carver system....

My old man had Bose in his RS6 and it was probably quite a bit better than the Carver I have in my Z4. I had HK in my 3 series and I have to say that the Carver is better than the HK.

All 3 blown out of the water by the set up I had in my Ford Focus all those years ago :tumbleweed: - I think it was the chav in me coming out.

There's no such thing as the perfect car is there? I miss various bits from all of my cars, mpg and effortless driving in the 123d that I had for a short while, little button in the Boxster that made the exhaust even louder, the seats in my E46 coupe (M Sport seats) were brilliant, heated windscreen in my Focus which I believe Ford have the patent on (?) was brilliant.

If I combined all the best bits of the cars I've owned then I'd be very happy... It'd look like an E31 8 series, handle like a Z4, sound like a Boxster (with the button pressed), be as good on the juice as a 123d, have the sound system of my Focus and it'd have a heated front screen. I have gone on. :driving:

Definetly a big ball bearing turbo.

The only thing that BMW could improve is the power output.
My turbo skyline never got beaten by a V8, sadly the same cant be said about the Z.

Hmm, that's a matter of opinion - I don't think a turbo would be right for a Z4, for me they're about precision driving with crisp throttle response, not about all out speed in a straight line or even top end grunt.

I think the M cars give plenty of bang for the buck, without having to resort to a turbo and losing some of the precision... but that's just me :)

I miss the MINI option Harmon Kardon sound system in my old MINI JCW S! That thing's base used to vibrate the door wing mirrors and render the interior rear view mirror to a usless blur when playing The Prodigy!!

Also miss the supercharger whine at full throttle! Wish I could have afforded to keep that MINI as well as buying the Z4! :(
