One of life's mysteries to me, roof up or roof down,

Trying to explain the virtues of open top motoring to a coupe driver is like trying to explain quantum theory to an ameba

If you want the full "experience" of motoring,then roof down is the only way.....

I personally wouldnt drop the roof when cold,but i have a mate with a 911 cab and he goes out in all weathers with the roof down,he just wears a scarf!

When all weather/road/car all align(yes it is rare) then there is nothing better than having the roof down..
 
Personally for me its a summers evening on quiet country roads, thats the best time, tweeting of birds. mooing of cows, cowpat smells :) plus you get a much better interaction feeling with the car that a tintop just can't give. In winter its an added bonus :driving:

Not wishing to appear an ace hole about this but the sound of 300 bhp being floored echoing off nearby buildings with the top down really is ace
