I don't need heated seats or to dress like an Eskimo, the warm feeling I get from being ace keeps me at perfect temperature

Just out of interest don't any of you feel like your personal security is compromised with the roof down?

Driving home from work through Wood Green and Tottenham......Nah, safe as houses. :-)

And the added benefits I see
1) The dogs look over at us and you can just see them wishing to be with you. :)
2) The women look over at us and wish they can be with us :D
3) The guys look at us and wish they could be us.
4) How else will I here "Cool Car, man" 'I like your car" :driving:
5) Was it mentioned? ACE :D

Oh, I have bun warmers and turn on the heater as well. I tried to go cross country one summer, but at 26deg F, I gave up and put the top up.

One of my best days in my old Z4 was on a snowy boxing day. Driving around with the roof down, hat, gloves. heated seats and shades on 8)
Bright sunshine, lovely crisp fresh air and relatively quiet roads.

It was Ace :!:

Many thanks for all the replies, not sure who this "ace" is but never mind, :) I've always preferred coup's but I've owned two Z4's and I tried open top motoring a few times but it was always a very hot summers day and I'm afraid I thought nothing of it, however I'm glad some of you like it- it just makes me feel more normal

My currant squeeze owns an Audi cab however I think it's about time I moved on because she keeps coming down here wanting to go out in her car with the top down!!! (it'll never happen)

I am a die hard roadster guy. Alway have been and I am getting to old to change and I like the soft top. There’s something about actually feeling the weather rather than imagining it through a digital outside-temperature display that literally gives variety to a day. The burst of warmth when the clouds slide off the sun, the tangible chill as you drive through a rocky gorge, the ozone-y atmosphere of an approaching thunderstorm. All good stuff... :driving:
