One of life's mysteries to me, roof up or roof down,

Following on from various posts on here.... I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understand the concept :? so, you lower the top down on a cold day and to save freezing your as* off you need to engage the electric seats, then you wrap up like an Eskimo and out you drive, this defies logic to me. :oops:

Now I know this thinking might be a bit, how can I put it, 'off the wall' but (and I'm purely guessing now) why not keep the roof UP and do away with looking like an Eskimo etc etc :wink:

Fresh air mate, it's what you breathe in to your lungs if you go outside. Plus it's ace :)
 
i'm with mr K here i'm afraid :wink: there's also the frazzling of the head in the sunshine caper :o just unpleasant IMO & can only accelerate hair loss ? hang on a mo ? penny dropping moment :o maybe that's why convertible owners wear caps ?
its not that i don't like fresh air cause i work outside the majority of time :wink:
plus i had a ragtop in my 20's & have never felt the urge since :oops:
 
When you say "ace" I just think of a rather slow Z4 driver who used to be a member :rofl:
