On the look out again!

Here goes anyway - with the obligatory 'roads in Sheffield drying out' rain marks just for pvr!

From the M, its obviously chalk and cheese but I've been thinking for a while I want to go frugal - am also considering setting up my own business - the M just would have been too expensive for me in that.

And to be honest, around the streets, it feels very nippy, and does what it does very well.

If you set up your own business, remember you can deduct 25% of the value (up to a maximum) each year from tax.

On my X5, when I sell it I will get a tax refund of about 16k on that as per the tax rules, they have overvalued it (i.e. they say it is worth 30k, whilst it is more like 14k or so).

So the more expensive the car, the more money you safe. Well, that is my line anyway :D

:D

Wondered if anyone would pick that out - does look like its sneaking a look doesn't it!

Nice colour combo. I think the 1 series coupe looks far and away better "in the tin" than in photos still.

Got used to starting the car with your left hand yet?
On every occasion since I got it yesterday I've gone to the right hand side for the keys. Even though I'm used to the button in my mates car! :D

Totally agree mate - definitely looks better in the tin.

Have seen 2 coupes locally since yesterday after seeing none for ages. Having only seen 2 M coupe's in 2.5yrs its gonna take some time getting used to seeing the same car more frequently!

I saw two 120Cd's on the same street the other night. In the same colour too, lol, mid-grey :D

Only seen one 135Ci though, and knew the guy who owned it (sold it for an X3, the weirdo!) hehe

Ah, I hadn't realised you were getting the coupe! Wondered why it was so expensive (for a standard 1-series)

Looks absolutely lovely!

Yup, love it. Check this out though....

Well, after all he has had it for a week or so now so it is time to get something else ... :poke:

I was looking on BMW AUC the other night, the 135Ci's seem to be all hiding on there for now... some getting to near £20,000 now...

The looks were good for me from the first viewing, and it looks better as time passes. I just hope they don't get far too popular because of all the diesel ones smoking around  :P

135Ci, diff and remap... one day it will be mine, oh yes... with sports seats as well :D

:D

I am getting itchy feet!

Loving the car though, extremely impressed with it. Done 300 miles in it over the weekend and it performed really well. Have to say it's surpassed my expectations - great car!
