On the ? day of Christmas my Gov gave to me

It's always been about what is on MSM...not the platform, but you've been very vitriolic about naming MSM and you can't deny that so I'm puzzled why this is any different... :scratchhead:

Your attitude is to let everyone else take the medicine, let the NHS go into meltdown, screw anyone that needs medical procedures and have them postponed or cancelled because you don't want a vaccine that is helping as much as humanly possible. That quite frankly stinks, absolutely stinks, especially when billions worldwide know a damn sight more than you about it. If you've ever had a jab for anything or medical procedure then that means trust on your part, where is it now the world needs trust in this.

I'm quite refreshed to hear you're wanting an amicable discussion for once, about time from you, no more rolling about laughing or your spin mocking at anyone's else's opinion, excellent.

I honestly do wonder sometimes if you have to work at misunderstanding and misconstruing what I write?

The MSM manipulate, spin and lie by omission, that does not mean that when they post a raw video of a person speaking that they are lying about that person or what that person has said because it is a raw video of that person speaking, now personally I prefer in full unedited video as, like I said a moment ago, the MSM often lie by omission. For example, Trump's "march to the capital" the MSM never ever (to my knowledge) played the following 10 seconds or so of that clip where he said "... marching over to the Capitol building to PEACEFULLY & PATRIOTICALLY make your voices heard" because to do so would ruin the "Trump is inciting riots" narrative that they were pushing.

Yes, anyone who wants the vaccine can have it. It protects them and me not having mine does not endanger them. People in my age group are at little risk of the virus and are at worst as at risk as someone in their 50s+ that is vaccinated. I also have no underlying health conditions (though I am slightly overweight). I have used the NHS GP maybe twice in the last 10 years and have only been to hospital twice in my life. I am far from responsible for the "meltdown" of the NHS, maybe level that claim at the obese, smokers, drinkers etc. I am fully vaccinated against everything except for this new virus, the vaccine has no long term testing and has (although extremely rarely) caused very serious life changing and life limiting side effects in people, especially men and boys when it comes to serious heart conditions.

I'm done giving you the benefit of the doubt.

You really REALLY have no idea Flying....no idea at all. It's quite amazing how much, borderline scary tbh.

Geeeeeee I'm all cut up and full of dread at you being done giving me the benefit of the doubt.... actually very pleased....I'd hate to have someone at your level on mine....now that'd make me worry.

The point of his theory was that if this variant produces only mild symptoms much like a bad cold, he was of the opinion we should encourage transmission and help it become the dominant strain.

Interesting theory.

It would be great news if true. The good thing about covid is that in general (I am sure there are a few exceptions) is that you only seems to be able to catch it once.

If this new one makes it was round the world quicker than the delta and has a similar effect to the common cold then it really will be over soon!

Personally I think we the UK having had a high infection rate come summer we must be nearly done with it anyway.

They said that last summer; and this summer. I admire your optimism though.
President of WHO said at a press conference the other day: "we may like to think we're almost done with this virus, unfortunately it isn't done with us yet". :|

Serious question. If you can't catch Covid again (or there is a very rare chance that you can) who is left to catch covid when we all have all caught covid?

I am optimistic as fcuk.

Is that the case though? Im sure in previous discussions it was pointed out that people had caught it more than once?

My understanding is it is very rare?

ONS say that they number is very low and that people who had a lower viral load in their initial infection were at a higher risk of reinfection compared with participants who had a higher viral load at their initial infection.

I’m so fkkin’ bored of all this. Not the forum discussion, but the entire flipping thing.

Wake me up when there’s an Ebola outbreak, otherwise, let’s just get on with life.

It is a meme from "the other side" of my way of thinking but I surely think it is very funny. (We should not be afraid to laugh at ourselves) It makes me think of Kelly Bundy from Married with Children. I think she called them "sky ent tists"...but at least Kelly was nice to look at !

Wrong unfortunately. Both my wife and I had the original Wuhan strain in January 2020. (Tested and confirmed) and she contracted Covid again in about July this year which again was confirmed with a positive test (PCR) and symptoms but which strain we were not told. Despite being in the same household I self tested every day for a week first was a PCR and the remainder lateral flow and was negative every time.

Iand my good lady wife may profess to be a lot of things but rare????? :o

And worse is to come after doctors are now allowed to postpone minor surgery and medical checks for the over 75's until end of March next year so they can provide booster jabs. (Which of course they are being paid an extra £15 per shot on top of their salary)

Wonder how much more difficult it will be now to get a doctors appointment?

Funny how doctors were not seeing patients face to face because of the Covid risk but as soon as they are going to be paid an extra £15 per patient, face to face is OK. Unless they have found a way to vaccinate over Zoom?
