It’s with the transportation company, arrives at the dealers this Friday or next Monday, then ceramic coating Tuesday, pick up Saturday morning

I pick mine up this afternoon and note that the weather forecast from tomorrow onwards is quite poor. Bloody typical

Great Ian, I bet you can’t wait

The weather will hopefully only be a temporary blip and still allow you to enjoy the car and get the roof down

Remember, lots of pictures of it are required, we are a nosey bunch and love seeing a new car!!!

I wasn't going to bother as it's just a bog standard San Francisco Red car.

I must admit that it's taking some getting used to as it drives as differently to my 630d GT as it's possible to get. It's far more skittish and nervous and the tech is far more complicated for an oldie like me

Re the tech, did you get sent anything electronically by the dealer to explain it all? I’m asking because I did this morning, along with the invoice balance and can send you that to peruse at your leisure

Had that on an SLK was bloody great unfortunately the zed doe snot have that option fitted

I was a bit reluctant at first - i thought a pair of gloves was a better option - but on reflection it’s a must have toy!
I would make sure the box is ticked on a future car

Have to say it wasn’t something that I thought I was that bothered about but was on the demonstrator and I really liked it

Yes I got that and there is a traditional style manual too.

My very first sports car was a 1966 Alfa Spider (the boat tail one) and that was so much easier to master as it had no tech in it at all

Next Saturday morning Stuart. Arrived at the dealers yesterday, going through PDI then ceramic coating on Monday/Tuesday so it’s cured for Saturday

I took the easy route there Sean, I just ticked everything so I won’t discover something I wish I’d had later. The only option not on the car is the anthracite roof as it didn’t go well with the black wheels and mirror caps etc,
