Congrats Andy, Im sure you and Kathleen will be more than happy with your choice, although I've heard the black one Kathleen had her eye on is actually the fastest one

Great to see the run-in tour is planned out, much more pleasant in a Zed than a campervan towing a Vauxhall Calibra

I'm expecting some great pics and feedback on the tour. Think Obs-Com has set a precedent on photo quality, that's some awesome pics on thye Stelvio

Cheers Mark, I know we will be. Camper van ups on the back burner, very back burner

There’ll definitely be feedback and pics but I’m not so sure they’ll be up to Obs standards

Well I can quite confidently say I didn’t know that, but then again I don’t watch tv for the over 60’s Sean :tumbleweed: :poke:

You certain about - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diana_Moran :D

Same answer, I honestly don’t think I’ve ever heard her name before 🤷🏼‍♂️

Well she was from breakfast TV back in the day (not that I watched) but she made a return with Mr Motivator last year during the pandemic to get old gits moving about in their chairs

No issue towing a swift challenger now though - mind may impact on the pics driving up the Stelvio

I must’ve submitted a dozen requests to Carwow and they never came back with any quotes. When I phoned them I said I’d consider nationwide for the right car/deal still nothing.

Looks like we both got the best deal going direct. I might’ve missed it somewhere but what one did you order?

Mine is the 2.0 in San Francisco red with both comfort packs as well as the parking package. As a septuagenarian my days of hooning around are behind me so I didn't bother with the lowered suspension

Lovely, that was the choice we had, between the blue and red, but Kathleen then took a last minute slant to black.

We went for the M40i because we wanted the equivalent model to the 35iS

What is that colour called please?

Frozen Orange Ron, only available on the 45 First edition models, all 19 plate iirc. You can’t order a new one in that colour

Yeah, the frozen Orange is lovely in the flesh. That was the colour we had on loan from the dealer in the Lakes for the 10th National,in 2019.
It looked great,as did the denim effect grey roof, lovely

As said, only available on the limited first edition models, most of which were ordered up by main dealers,as demos apparently :driving:

Yeah only on those first cars. The roof is still available as a £250 option but when we built it on the configurator it’s didn’t look great because we’ve opted for the shadowline plus pack and the black roof matched everything better.

Yeah,I almost pulled the trigger on one when they first came out Andy, test drove one and got figures/prices agreed, but Would of had to have sold my M,which I didn't want to,lol
Also Hackney x4 30d m sport fora weekon extensive test drive, brought up from BMW hq in London, specced up to our preferred spec, but wife didn't like the gearbox (7 or 8 speed auto Asia wasatadjerkyform 0to 1sta s 1st to 2md,though I did58nd it,Wife couldnt live with it, so ended up buying a Tiguan R line, which wasn't that much cheaper payments wise, lol.

Just too make sure I’m missing not having a roadster this pulled up beside Kathleen’s car yesterday when I was in the garden putting some outdoor lights up. What a noise      Not really seen one up close but this thing is stunning!

Of course I had to go out for a chat, lovely older couple. It belongs in a stable of 3 Porsche’s, a Bentley and a Ferrari. This is her “going to the shops on a nice day car” which returns 26 mpg “until you’re trying for 200MPH” according to her.

Not the best pictures but the gold wheels (which I’m not a fan of normally) looked absolutely stunning and suited it perfectly

Less than two weeks until ours arrives now

That does look very nice but those wheel should not be on there IMHO :D

Oh, so you can decide on the colour of other people’s wheels in under 2 minutes but not your own in 2 weeks :poke:

That looks like a very nice “shopping car“ you won’t see many in a Netto car park!

Yes it is Ron, and does make Kathleen’s real going to the shops car parked next to it seem ultra ordinary

said in my thread that gold was a no no and certainly not on there for me anyway :D
