People don't understand that most insurance prices are not mainly based on the value of the vehicle or the size of the engine. Insurance companies go by statistics and I can't imagine that alot of Corvettes were involved in crashes especially in the uk which in their eyes makes the car "safer". The more popular the car is with younger driveres the more you will pay insurance, it's a fact that younger people are the ones which tend to crash more and drop the statistics.
