How did the paint hold up?

Holding up very nicely after 6k miles. I actually tried DIY first using those spray cans from automative stores. I bought sand paper, primer, paint, and clear coat. Parts alone cost me $25. It was a pain in the ass to sand the chrome off the grill surrounds (this step alone is worth the $40 I spent at the bodyshop). Long story short, the end result was so bad (mostly due to me inexperience in painting stuff) that I ended up having to buy a new set of grills and simply sent them to the bodyshop this time. The bodyshop uses much better quality primer and paint as well.

See ya soon on one of the ATL GTG's

Thanks! I have settled in! How many of us are there in the Atlanta group? I was thinking about gtg's and didn't know what the group size would be.

As of the moment, there are only 4 of us currently active on the forum, but I am trying to recruit more each day.

So, let's say 7 plus one tag along each. That wouldn't be too many for a dinner get together. I doubt that everyone would show anyway. I'm absolutely addicted to this tapas restaurant, Eclipse Di Luna, and the one in Buckhead has plenty of safe parking spots. The food is inexpensive and the sangria is great. Would that be something that you guys would be into? If so, is there a night that would be better for some?

I'd be up for that. My wife has been talking about that place. There's one by where she works up by perimeter mall. But I think that one and the one in Buckhead are different? Fri, Sat nights are usually good for us.

We actually just tried the Perimeter one last week. It was good - it had different menu items from the one in buckhead. My husband likes the Perimeter menu and I like the buckhead menu. Go figure. The one at buckhead has a lot of interior designer shops that you have to pass to get to the restaurant and those are all closed in the evening so I was thinking those would be good places to park. The perimeter location parking is horrible.

You guys should try it - we have been to two other tapas restaurants in Atlanta and numerous ones in FL and none of them compare to this one. Yum!

I haven't really been on any forums lately. I didn't forget you guys! I see 561design all the time. How have you been?

Sounds fab :sweetheart:

I did look into maybe buying one in the summer but the numbers didn't stack up on it, very nice indeed though. Had a look at your gallery, love it in white

PS Is your cat a bengal?

I wasn't sure if you saw my cat on my myspace pics or saw an ad since we were just looking at them online. He looks a little bengal-like but he isn't.
