Wireless charging is easily added, we did the same on my son's 140i which didn't have it.

I do like it in my M though, except I always leave my phone in it when walking away from the car. But a walk back looking at it again makes up for that :lol:

Thanks, I have a few questions, I either use Spotify or Audible when I’m in the car through Apple CarPlay, does the phone have to be connected by a cable or can it connect and play via Bluetooth?

Welcome back. As AA has mentioned I’ve had the same options deleted as you. Wireless charging is easy to add. Plenty of options on Amazon.

The Apple CarPlay is wireless so your phone can stay in your pocket and you can stream Spotify Apple Music etc. You can use waze or Google maps.

Have you had your build slot confirmed?

Thanks for the information, appreciated. I usually use Google maps as the Mercedes map system was dated, however I did like the BMW navigation in the 435d and I will use that again.

I had confirmation today that the order is on the system and a build slot allocated to me, delivery for third week in September, confirmed by the retail manager. I am taking that with a pinch of salt, but I’ve paid the deposit so what mileage is there lying to me now, especially as he didn’t sell me the car

I can't remember seeing one.

You're not kidding, first time in 15 years of not having a convertible over summer, I started to look at cheap MX-5 but sanity came calling

They’re better in the flesh. I saw lots of pictures but it didn’t do it justice from when we got to the Cotswolds to pick it up. The red is quite unusual as well. Has a slight orange fleck in some lights but cleans very nicely.

As for Spotify, I assume it streams. It’s all over the air updates and info now on these new ones. The menu is just like it is on Spotify with recently played, favourites etc. Or there’s apple car play but I find the BMW/Spotify stuff works just as well.
