Who gives a sh*t if no one except the purchaser either can "see" or likes the plate.As long as the purchaser gets it,and likes it,then that's all that matters.

I generally agree, fock what others think. Except with custom number plates. You're putting a sign on your car that you're expecting others to read, or at least try to read. I see it as being a puzzle author, to be challenging enough for people to feel good about their puzzle solving skills, and yet not so challenging that no one gets it. It's very hard to write a good puzzle when you know the answer, as you can't judge the difficulty yourself.

I didn't see it at first because I'm too conventional to have thought of making one letter out of parts. Once you gave the first answer though, it was quite obvious. Clever!
I don't think you can judge the difficulty just because Taz and richtea don't get it.

I don't think I'd have got that T77 CPE was supposed to mean 'M Coupe', and if I saw the 7s were tweaked to make it look more like an M I don't think I'd like it, it's trying too hard to force something for me. Each to their own of course.

As an aside, I bought my wheels from a former member on here and he had a plate that worked really well: M4 OUP. It was unspaced and seeing a pic of it I have to say it worked well, much better than I'd have expected.

Back to tweaking 7s, the cops could pull you for that remember.
