Wow looks great richard

I am there next friday for my exhaust also, getting something slightly different. Also want the cross over pipe sprayed black.

How long did it take to fit?

And Is there anywhere nearby that i can sit with a coffee or is it pretty much an industrial estate?

They actually cover the the crossover pipe in black exhaust tape so you can't see it.
Dropped it off Monday at 08:30 and picked it back up Tuesday at about 12:30, they were still finishing it off when I got there.
It is the middle of an Industrial estate, the town centre is probably a 20 minute walk though.
Not really sure why it took so long other than they only started fabricating everything from scratch when I got there, there are no pre-made parts.

Seriously p1ssed off now as they refused to premake any of mine meaning I had to stay overnight incurring extra costs, they may have done a reasonable job but I'm getting annoyed at their professionaism or lack of it now.

Got mine done yesterday.... The car is all covered up... So a teaser pic!

Need to spray the backbox and pipe black though.

From the place in sutton in Ashfield?

PS Will look great once you've sprayed the cross pipe and muffler

Is that one big and one small tip either side or an illusion? Looks odd in the pic

Yep same place. Although noticed the right one has shifted slightly, so no longer centered. Will give them a call later today.

Yep the inner ones are 3", the outer one is 2.5". Thought i would go for something different. In hindsight should have gone for a 3.5" and 3.0" maybe.

3.5" and 3.0"' - why do you want the Saxo look?

Looks good to me as it is, although I'd have been boring and gone for 4 the same.

Looks good, if a little unusual, brave decision to stand out from from the norm  .

Don't know if it means anything it's the LH that's moved on mine as well.

Mine did the same - they use two pipes to do the drivers side, with a clamped to hold them together. I guessed they did this so they can allign the exhaust tips

I just tightened up the clamp myself, has not budged since

Mine is the passenger side - the backbox side thats shifted maybe 1cm outwards. Will take a look at this clamp thanks ranski

Yeah the problem is i didnt want them too large so oped for the stock size 2.5 for the smaller one but then these dont quite fill the gap now... Well not as well as my original one did with its thicker trims fitted.

Has anyone done the Schmiedmann Quad exhaust system? It looks quite nice, don't know about the sound, but it comes with adjustable tips to accomodate for the stock rear valance as well as aero bumpers. For 700 euro's it's actually cheap.

Tommy,
I am getting mine custom made in the Netherlands tomorrow: http://www.maxiperformance.nl/
It's the same set-up but costs only 350 to 400 euro all-in :)
THAT is cheap

Anyway, maybe you can find a soundclip on youtube? I figure they sound the same as the Eisenmann duplex exhausts.

^ makes me curieus Bad. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

Btw: as far as the Schmiedman's are concerned: don't see why right tips should be that short: don't like that you see were the tips end from the side (second pic). Looks verry Chrevolet Lacetti-ish to me...

That's a really good price... I've just been quoted £350 to have one custom made...
