Here ya go; a PS I came across.

Just noticed one of the cut lines on the front fenders. Makes it look busy--the fender is now 2 pieces instead of one, smooth piece like in our Z4s and the bumper line makes it look like 3 pieces from the side.

I have to say that I love the look of the new Z :D The big question how much is it going to cost?
Do love that blue color, yes I own a blue Z now, but the new darker blue looks hot! The interior dash is also a nice change!
Time will tell if I really do trade, reserve the right to drive this puppy! The new suspension settings with run flats, confused if that will make the ride like non run flats?

At my age, I may just do a Europe delivery, that would just make it a serious blast and lasting memeory :driving: :driving:

Anyway my 2 cents--

Bob

I know what you mean, but I don't mind it at all, because it eliminates the hood seam.

Ah. Still busy-of course, with all those hood lines, the whole car is "busier" than the old one. Hopefully, there will be a few on next year's Ultimate drive so I can get some quality seat time.

"quality seat time" :driving:

....+1 absolutely looking forward to that.

hmmmm it doesnt look pretty in red.. i think only good looking cars can handle striking colours like that, the //M launch cars did so well.

It's very telling to me that most of the pics have a very placid champagne colour, both about intended market and how that numbs some of the lines..

Although the fit and finish of the interior seems top notch, I already miss the sincere simplicity and symmetry of the original Z4's cabin. One thing that I can't get over... the placement of the hazard & central locking buttons seems far too prominent – especially the central locking button. There's a lot crammed in that little space between the center vents.

Overall, good looking, IMHO. Figure the price to be going up though :( because of the new top and more powerful engine. My old 3.0 has always had enough power for me, 225 hp, and the gas mileage has been good; happy to stay within those parameters.

Those side blinkers make me throw up a little in my mouth every time I see them. But the rest of the car is looking good!

Another example of pointless badges. Why put a Z4 on the back when it clearly messes with the symmetry? De-badging is the way. I hope they do a quad exhaust option as two just looks too 645 for me.

I'll never own one anyway as my ZMC is worth £3.50 and i owe £25,000. Another 2 years and i can hand it back.

I'm hoping that by the time I make it to Lakenheath I can afford to trade mine in/sell it outright and either get this Z4 or get a newer used Z4....like a 08 M.....yeah that sounds better
