Official CSL Gallery Thread

Ye I wouldn't pay £1800 for a set must be mad to spend that amount even the best Z4M available thats 10% of the cars value! Then another £1000 to put some tyres on...

Especially when your likely to see £1000 for a second hand set. So you can hardly call that keeping their value.

Although compared to what BMW charge for their 'normal' 19" rims that there are so many threads about cracking, they are cheaper and aren't as susceptible to cracking.

They are beautiful tho and really make the Z look like it should have out of the factory the OEMs are just so boring! Standard 5 star spokes are hardly aggressive these days, especially as there is dish on them. They dont fit with the car IMO, the car was designed to be different and every angle has been agonised over then they put that classic style wheel on it and it undoes all that effort. Obviously my opinion, in the flesh the difference is much more noticeable.

Looking fab! With what offset that is? Alpina's do not have a different offset compared to stock non-M Z4's, do they (as is the case for ethe Z4M)?

Regarding the OEM vs Replica argument, I think it's fair to say that we all have our own budgets to stick to!

For my previous car (An EP3), I spent literally thousands on genuine Mugen kit even though replicas were everywhere but saying that, I got a lot of my money back by reselling. And that's the difference, with genuine kit, you'll get most of your money back.

Anyway, here's my 19" CSL reps as there's no way I'd be buy genuine wheels and then paint them:

Car looks stunning there Pritt. Where'd you get the CSL reps from?

actually got them second hand from a guy who crashed his car before he could even mount the wheels... so still brand new, no idea on the brand though, but the curves seem right and I have the marking on the front as well.
