As for dealers, main or independent I don't think they view the cars as we do,there just a source of profit.
If there quite new then they'll look good, after that it's down to the valeters etc and some are clueless..
hi, i'm wondering if you are expecting to much from a second hand sale, even on a brand new car i could pick fault. Are you looking at higher mileage and expecting zero marks, which isnt going to happen or are you looking at the cheaper end of the market. In my experince main dealers have the best cars, but you have to pay more. Whats your budget?2dogs said:Went to look at another ZM yesterday 220 mile round trip and again I was disappointed
they said it was A1 but it was more like C1 I'm beginning to think there are no good M's

If they can't be straight with you over the phone, then how can you trust them to have told you everything when you go to view it?2dogs said:No, I don't think i expect to much, but when i ask the question, Are the seat in good nic and they say yes A1

Why? Z4Ms aren't magically immune to stone chips, kerbing and swirling...just like any other car, **** happens. Hell I've seen a few Ferraris that look rough....it all depends on the life it's had

IMHO, most people that buy a Z4, be it M, or non-M, will buy the best car that their budget allows, and as such, if they are the sort of person to look after a car properly, ie: correctly servicing, and caring for the exterior and interior as they should, then they will do so whether they have an M, or not ?
Just because they have had the funds to spend more on a car doesn`t automatically mean that they will respect it more than someone who has has less funds to spend.
