All - it's been a while since I posted anything on here, but rest assured I've been lurking and reading! Been a proud owner of my Zed for 2.5 years now, and have done a little bit of modding during that time, notably:

- Z4M alloys (courtesy of Terryvision and Mint Alloys for the refurb)
- Recovered steering wheel and gear knob (courtesy of Royal Steering Wheels)
- Stubby aerial

I am changing jobs soon and need something more suitable and comfortable to the significant motorway driving I'm going to have to do

There are some photos in my introductory thread here - http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=63428

Some newer photos below - iPhone shots only I'm afraid:

Headline spec items:

- RPC
- MFSW
- LOGIC 7 professional stereo
- Sat Nav
- Metallic paint
- Auto-dimming rearview mirror
- Auto headlights and rain sensor
- 6 CD changer
- Active sports leather/sports fibre upholstery
- storage package
- M-sports suspension

Current mileage is approx 36k so extremely low mileage but car is in use so will go up slowly. Its first listed service was an Inspection 1 at 19k in 2010 (carried out by BMW), followed by an oil service at 29k earlier this year (carried out by a BMW specialist).

Car has just completed its full inspection 2 service, including brand new brake discs and pads on all four corners! Service indicator is now showing 15.5k miles until an oil service is required.

Aside from a scratch on the front bumper, as shown in pic (courtesy of some heartless bastard in a cark park presumably), the car is in excellent condition. Alloys were fully stripped and refurbed 6 months ago by Mint Alloys and were fitted with brand new rubber - Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2s on all four corners. Some curb damage but nothing major.

Am happy to send this car to the dealer as part-ex but thought as its such a great example and well cared for Zed, you lovely forum folks might be interested in making an offer. So as a starting place - let's say £8k. Very good price given what has been spent on it recently!

Car is advertised on Piston Heads. The advert contains some more pictures and further information:

Car is located in Kent.

Any queries then please do not hesitate to give me a shout.

Cheers,
Tom

Two questions:

- I do not see a price unless I am going blind 8)
- Am I right in reading that the car has had 2 services in total, 1 in 2010 and one in 2015, i.e. 5 years in between services?

Also, it should not need an Insp 2 until it hits about 44k, going by the average mileage between services ?

You are right as I was thinking the same!

Sorry didn't include a sale price as unsure as to how best to price it. Let's just say £8k but open to offers. :)

With regards to the service history, I can only go by what is in the service booklet and what I have had carried out. Car is saying inspection is due - inspection 1 again? Surely not!?

Believe reason for lack of serving is due to the extremely low mileage.

Hope this helps.

I assume some brake fluid was changed at some time or is the clock symbol on?

Lovely car sir  Good luck with the sale.
It's such a shame that the loser enthusiasts feel the need to come along and spoil the thread. C'mon guys, Get a life!

If you advertise here, you can expect clarification questions as potential buyers will want to know this. If you don't want that, then Autotrader / eBay / Pistonheads is your means of advertising.

No clock symbol showing.

In the time I have had it, I have made sure to do a regular oil change. Can't vouch for what happened before I owned her, other than what is in the service booklet.

I expected some queries about the service history. When I bought the car I didn't pay much attention to it, now I understand it a little more I can see why questions are being raised. However, I am confident that the car is well looked after, as she runs great and has hardly seen much action.

Tom

The questions are for clarification only Tom, glad you're not offended by us losers

It looks a lovely car, and has not done many miles so even though the history is patchy it's not been run for miles and miles between services, unlike at least one on here I can think of. Great spec and a pretty good entry price - anyone looking to buy might want to get it checked over by a mechanic but I bet they won't find anything untoward.

Good luck, the market will start to pick up soon

Same as PVR, great colour and I love the steering wheel too!

Good luck with the sale! This should make a nice example for someone to cherish and continue to look after!

Any thoughts on the pricing of this? £8k seem reasonable? Does the service history seem an issue or is it ok given the low mileage?

Ta

It's worth what someone will pay. Stick it on at £8250 given the colour, wheels and low miles and see how you get on. If you get £7850.00 for it then I think that's still good.

It's also a horrible realisation that what mine is worth :o
