It's worth what someone will pay. Stick it on at £8250 given the colour, wheels and low miles and see how you get on. If you get £7850.00 for it then I think that's still good.

It's also a horrible realisation that what mine is worth :o

Great thanks for the advice, will give that a shot!

Quick update. The car has now gone through its full Inspection 2 service and I have replaced the discs and pads on all four corners!!

Planning on putting her on Autotrader next weekend but just thought I would see if there was any interest on here now that the car has been serviced and fully checked over.

Dash now showing 15550 miles till oil service! :)

Monaco maybe ? Looks almost black at times , whichever it looks sublime with the 224s on , can't believe BMW ever let the 16inch bottletops even into their factory let alone out with a car attached to them :o

I'm probably one of very few members that still run the Z on 16" rims, believe it or not it was one of the requirements when I bought the car and this was based on my experience with our daily drive Series 1 - 118i which has 17" rims as standard. A few years ago bought some winter wheels through BMW which were 16" steel rims non R/F tyres.
The difference in ride, comfort, noise level was pretty remarkable.
Some of the change I attributed to the smaller wheels, the rest the NRF tyres. This occurred a few years before I joined the forum and now being much more knowledgeable :x , 90% of the improvement is down to the tyres.
The Z4 with even 16" wheels and NRF tyres would probably open my eyes.

I appreciate your thinking but think decent non runflats on 17inch alloys would give you a decent combination of looks & comfort

Thank you Mr wilks. that's probably the line I'll take.

Offsets & tyre profile can also work in your favour so pay attention to both , Ideally a Etof around 40/42 & a tyre profile of 50 will work wonders for ride & looks

Can't believe this is still here and at £8k I would have thought a good price for spec and mileage!
