As i've said, i've got a £2000 excess.liTTle wHitE sHarK.. said:The only thing I'm confused here is the insurance, I'm 25, married and obviously a female(!) and my Zed is 2.2l with 2 years NCB, yet my insurance is still £1000 this year!
Was curious so just got a new quote - 3 years NCB (used to have 6 - grrr) , 26, just quoted £997 with Admiral through insuresupermarket.com... £400 excess.
Little White Shark, I am sure you can do better than £1000 on a 2.2
As for insurance... $1800.00 per year for my home owners policy, full coverage w/towing, on my Zed, liability on my 78 F-250 4x4 and 89 Bronco ll 4x4, Zed alone is $830.00 yr. Sate Farm.Kurts05Z4 said:Some days 26, some days 86. :? Licence says 49.
Besides, it's not the age that gets you, it's the mileage!

Rick Hunter said:It's because there's about a zillion insurances here, and 50 States (each with their own regulations on coverage). So my $90/month insurance with the one I'm with probably won't help the guy who's in Florida etc.
Rates also will differ slightly depending on the area you live in in the city.
I've also heard that some insurances now look into your credit rating to determine costs too (dunno if that's true?).
Think they have only just started doing multi-car policy discounts etc over here, saved me a few pounds this yearrabman5 said:...and, you can get huge "multi=policy" discounts for multiple cars, home, and life insurance policies. I even get a discount because my daughter gets good grades in school!
