I'm 49, but only for a matter of days ... still I'm looking forward to getting that Saga Insurance quote!

I'm a member of lots of forums and a 'How old is everyone' thread always pops up at some point and always started by someone young. Usually by someone who is very proud of themselves for driving such a nice car at such a young age.
Im not having a go, its just an observation. :) It always seemed to me from the posts that the UK guys on here seem younger than US lot too.
Im 30, and i suppose probably about the average age for a Z4 owner in UK. As similarly to most its a DINKY car.

No way a DINKY car for me, single income and two kids, think I got something wrong.

I'm 23 :D
Insurance on my Z4 M Coupe? £1300/yr  That started out as £2000 :o , but adjusting things like the excess worked it down.

I AM proud of my Zed (especially because it's white  ), not only because it's a BMW for me but because it's such a good drive! I've been fortunate to be able to afford one at a youngish age (25) purely because of the job I do. But seeing on this forum there are loads of youngsters here too! :P At the moment we're just a happy young couple but with little ones on the way (hopefully) I'm scared I'll have to bid farewell to the Zed!

The only thing I'm confused here is the insurance, I'm 25, married and obviously a female(!) and my Zed is 2.2l with 2 years NCB, yet my insurance is still £1000 this year! I've read some fellow users getting a Z4M, male, under 25 (as young as 21) and quoted £1300? I tried to get a quote for a 3.0 Z but it was over £1300 :?

I'm only £400 fully comp with my 25 year old girlfriend on the policy, bell direct!

23. I'm £600 for 10 months on my 2.0 with Elephant who seem about the cheapest for a young driver on a car like this

Try Bell Direct. At 24 with 6 yrs NCB I was paying £1230 for an M3, £600 excess.

Or Direct Line - at 23, 4 years NCB, my 330 was £540FC and that was 55% discount, so I'm sure you can get £1300 down!
