Not at all mate (not that i'm not proud of my motor) just following on from the 'what you do for a living' thread, More a wee chance of getting to know people a little better.

Im 30, and i suppose probably about the average age for a Z4 owner in UK. As similarly to most its a DINKY car.
No way a DINKY car for me, single income and two kids, think I got something wrong.
That started out as £2000 
, but adjusting things like the excess worked it down.turn 21 in few months.....how exciting 
I AM proud of my Zed (especially because it's white 
), not only because it's a BMW for me but because it's such a good drive! I've been fortunate to be able to afford one at a youngish age (25) purely because of the job I do. But seeing on this forum there are loads of youngsters here too! 
At the moment we're just a happy young couple but with little ones on the way (hopefully) I'm scared I'll have to bid farewell to the Zed!
The only thing I'm confused here is the insurance, I'm 25, married and obviously a female(!) and my Zed is 2.2l with 2 years NCB, yet my insurance is still £1000 this year! I've read some fellow users getting a Z4M, male, under 25 (as young as 21) and quoted £1300? I tried to get a quote for a 3.0 Z but it was over £1300 :?

I'm only £400 fully comp with my 25 year old girlfriend on the policy, bell direct!
I can't seem to find any cheaper on moneysupermarket.com! Maybe you have more NBC than me and a year older? - does it make that big a difference? :?

ours is about £700 for 2 cars (other is a Saxo VTR) with Admiral Multicar, do have loads of NCB and we're both 33...
