Well, I asked myself which photo would look best on a calendar for November. That made it even more difficult to choose. Yous guys are putting some awesome pics up here. One would think that yalls is professional photographers. I need more time to think before I vote...

Gauss, you have a serious eye for detail.

Funny you should put that among your criterias for getting your vote - you stated you voted for AlanL, and he has the same mis-alignment of his wheels . . .

I did notice AlanL had his wheels mis-aligned, but he had a lot of other things correct. That angle, and the lighting. The background colors contrast excellently with the coupe's color. Had the wheel been aligned it would have been an easy choice. I haven't voted yet though.

:D Remind me to check the alignment and then skid around a couple of turns before posing the car to make sure it all lines up next time.

FWIW I never even noticed that the spokes are aligned in my sig until you brought this topic up.

Well, they're pretty close to being aligned in your sig, but not quite. You need to do some more skidding... :D :driving:

Poor Rick installed wheels with widely spaced spokes - he will have a much more difficult time "becoming aligned" for photo shoots. On the other hand that might mean he gets more skid time in before the final perfect pose

The guys who buy the bazillion spoke wheels that are all uniform spacing will have the easiest time of this but then again they have to clean them.

whats the deal with the slk and the mini?
what they doing here?

Chariszzzz, this is not a closed club, other people who feel at home here are welcome.

Some of those cars you mention belong to previous Z4 owners, and they are of course still welcome even though they don't own a Z4 anymore. We appreciate their continued company! :)

i dont exactly agree.. but this is just my opinion...!

so i can post a pic of errrrr......hmm...... :scratchhead: :scratchhead: a bike or a boat and still win this??

chariszzzz, it's ok to disagree.
However, the forum policy is to maintain an open, inclusive profile.

As for posting a bike or a boat, that would be against the rules as stated on top of the photo competition entry thread

The image must contain a car and it must be yours (or your gf/wife's ) car.

So why with so many members have only 54 folks voted?

Get out and vote. Its your God given right.

JMHO

Wheel spoke alignment.

Note to self:" Front and back shots from me, no side shots".

Here's my two penneth :

Some people have been on this forum (or on the old z4um) for a long period of time... they have moved on and got other cars yet they still feel they can and want to participate on the z4-forum. Personally I think that is absolutely fantastic! These are people who I (we) value a LOT on the forum and as such they have every right to post their car in the comp.

I understand people who disagree, but I believe life's too short to shut people out, and I for one like seeing the odd hairdressers (I mean different) car in the comp ;)

sp3ctre, thanks for the kind words...I think :D :P

Anyway - must dash, got a couple of cut and blow dry to get done before dinner

:hairdryer:

And Ben, our leader made a personal invitation to us non-Z owners here http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=734

Guass does not have a Z4 and thus he cannot post a picture of his Z4. :fuelfire:

Easy now, everyone knows I have a Z4 M coupe.

Rick Hunter, I don't have a perfect wheel alignment myself, thats why I notice it so much on cars when they do have it. It bothers me everytime I see my wheels and they are not perfectly aligned. Just pisses me off. If you want an example of perfectly aligned wheels, you don't have to look any farther than your own sig.

How about posting a picture then? I asked aj to do the same with his 4 people driving in a Z4 picture :poke:
