Most companys now Powder coat the primer & wet paint the base coat & powder coat the lacquer to get a near perfect factory finish.i was a powder coater in my past life & had to pay to get mine done last month . Talking to the boy that done mine was telling me that all there top coats are wet painted. Also when being coated the wheel is masked to prevent any build up on hubs etc !
