I loved it and thought I was the ‘bees knees’ when driving with the top down. There was no fuel gauge. When there was 2.5 gallons left in the tank a green warning light came on on the dashboard. As an impecunious student there were few occasions when the light was out. The seat back ran across the car in one piece and there was no lateral support. So when going round corners you slid across. Mine was a good age when I bought it and the leather was really slippy. The first Summer I owned it I drove from Durham to Dorset for a holiday job without any problems. I sold it for £180. A good one is worth a bit more than that now.
