Great day's driving with some spectacular scenery and great roads. Really love Northumberland.

Just got back in at 6.30pm after a spirited run back to the start with the remainder of the group on fairly quiet country lanes - made a lovely end to a busy day! :thumbsup: Having a cuppa and a few minutes - will post more later.

For now, suffice to say - thanks to all that made the journey to join us again. We got to most of the intended route with only one major loss of Zeds . . . .not too bad given the traffic and how busy Northumberland was today. Not quite as slick as we would have liked it but as always, lovely people and the weather was wonderful - what more do we need :D :thumbsup:

Don't know about Forum Legends - how's about having to take all 17 Zeds into the Falcons Rugby Club car park two minutes after the start as I realised I hadn't brought my mobile :o . . . . .big whoopsie and the makings of a legend right there :( . . . . just after reassuring everyone that our mobile number was at the top of the route sheets and encouraging everyone to ring if there was a problem :cry: . . . . . Felt a lot better when I'd picked it up from home over the road! :D
 
Yes, enjoyed the Day.... and the boneshaking mini Hoon on the way home! :driving: :thumbsup:

(mr wilks - I call them 'IQ reducers' not baseball caps - and I've got lots of them. I think I was telling everyone how uncomfortable the corner of that table was . . . . :lol: )

Good to meet so many fantastic people! :D
Very long day setting off at 7:00am and getting home at 8:00pm but well worth the journey. :D

Just want to thank Paul and Steph for yet another organised and enjoyable day, and we all appreciate all the time and effort and planning that you and Steph put in. It was also great to see some old and new faces and to be able to catch up with everyone.
