Met up with Cherrym today to drive through the full route, check timings and get some feedback (we need extra folk that know the route with a possibility of 20+ Zeds attending - Chezsherman will be helping out as well)
Waiting at the start point at 10am for Cherrym

New first coffee stop at Alnwick

Quite a lot of sea water on the causeway to Holy Island (there have been some high tides recently and this is the worst we've seen it
Most of the causeway was dry however - just this section with puddles). We'll have to see how it looks on the day. We suggest that if some folk don't want to take their Zeds over the causeway on the day, they can stay at Bead's Barn carpark (just before the causeway) until we return.

The timings worked out but please note, with the extra distance of our visit to Holy Island we will be having a late lunch stop at Seahouses - the fish and chip shop and the ice cream dairy are all set to receive us.

So route finalised - the total mileage was 144 miles from the start to the Ice Cream Dairy just off the A1 where folk from the North can head home and those who want to continue can follow us back to the start on more back lanes (avoiding the A1) or if preferred can head south on the A1 for speed.
More details and pms to follow. Thanks, Paul and Steph.
