North York Moors meet - Sun 1st Sept - fancy a drive out?

Brian - ill start a thread on this when we get back - worth having this debate in the open.

Not sure how many z4 runs either of you have been to, but guess its nill.

When regular attendees swap cars (the e85s) won't last for ever, do we boot those people out? The e89 doesn't appeal to lots if e85/6 owners so they're leaving the zed fold.

When Sammyz and Craig sell their zeds (both have thought about doing so) do we allow then to organise that national but not attend?

P.S. If that's the new rule then this meet wouldn't happen anyway - sold my zed (with a dozen or so runs under its wheels) a few months ago.

The simple answer is to have a zed only group at the front and another group with whatever at the back or vice versa. Alternatively have two meets. One zed only then an any car one. Not sure about bikes though, that's just asking for trouble.

Hi mate

There is no need for a debate as it was only my opinion and I totally understand your points regarding good friends who no longer own a zed, as for you asking how many meets I have been to, well your assumption that it is nil is correct! but as I have only owned a zed for 6 weeks it would be nil as there hasn't been anything going on in my area. I do appreciate it is difficult getting enough together for a meet so other vehicles would make sense but it wouldn't be for me that's all I was saying in a friendly way :)

Andy

I was the white zed that waved &flashed my lights like a mad man at you all in between Sutton bank and Helmsley on the way to a christening in Wetherby this morning!

Gutted I couldn't come. Looked like a good convoy.

P.S. Big Thanks to Guiseley for organising and planning the route as it takes time and effort, much appreciated :)

Thanks Tony for putting all the effort into a great day out. It was nice to see some new faces and a couple of old ones, it's a shame I had to nip off early I missed Blakey Ridge :( and Ruth's biscuits :( :( :( .

Blakey ridge is a great road with superb views, we go to the Lion inn often after walking, were there many sheep on the side of the road as they scare me so much as they are daft and likely to jump in front of you and I don't want my zed damaging :)

I really don,t get the "Z4 only" brigade ? Is M only or roadster/coupe only the next step
A get together with like minded individual;s who may or may not have different motors is a great chance to get up close & look over (or under  ) other cars that may or may not be on your future purchase list
Looked a good day for it anyhow  lets have some more pics :)

As usual a great days driving and always good to meet up with members old and new , I feel absolutely shattered but it was well worth it :driving:

Big thanks to Tony

Just wanted to say thanks to Tony for organising the meet today, had a great time, just sorry we had to cut it short today. I'll look forward to doing more runs in the future. Have a good one, cheers, Jon.

Couple of photos from Bethan.

Sorry for those who left early - you must do Blakey Ridge with a few friends one time. (Look forward to seeing Chris or Ian's vid!)
