Kyle, welcome to the forum! It was nice to see you on Sunday- must be a record attending your first meet before your first post!

sammyz, how many were there?

2 did the ring and the others were there for the the picture, i count 20, so in total 22, not 23

22 in total. Friend of Dan's didn't show in her new Z4.

Lucy must be giving Russ' dongle a thorough seeing to. :D

in all seriousness how does he get away with no front reg plate?
the amount of coppers we passed?
Or was he goin too fast for them to notice?

I was thinking that! With no front plate and a rear that reads "You're too slow", must be the most pulled car in the country!

Sixspeed, exactly how many times have you been pulled over? Or have the rozzers never actually managed to catch up??

Well ive just been tagged in a photo on FB from sunday
So fingers crossed Russ' full photo album will be available soooon :P

Lol, he's been editing some of the pictures for the last hour and posting them on there as he goes along. I will post them on here when they are ready. Some good one's so far! :)

Not that it needs one of course!!!

he could make it into a coupe, thats good enough

Yeh maybe one day when i decide to downgrade i ll consider a coupe.. :P
Come on...in that sunshine u cannot tell me u were glad u had a hardtop!?
Quite a few coupe owners had windows fully open...in an attempt to re-create the roadster effect :driving:

and they would never dream of putting a 4 pot in a coupe

Yeh cos they know that if they did absolutely EVERYONE would be gagging to buy one and then there would be way too many of them
So by putting it in the roadster and only the roadster it ensures only the very select few and the absolute prime own one. :|
Rarity is what we are after here.... :poke:
Oh and coupes need to go on a diet!

sterling grey 54 plate roadster with 108's. Hope that helps

It's not great, but here's some footage from the day - it looks a little lonely as I've tried to remove any evidence of other people's cars. Should have taken some time to line the camera up too  And bought a hat.

ADD: That interesting engine sound is a motorbike on my six.

(I have tried to contact anyone else who is in the video, but will remove anyone that doesn't want to be in it)

Another thing, not sure if this has been said, but it's great to go for a spirited drive without anyone doing anything stupid*
*As far as I saw... not accounting for women trying to turn right

As we haven't a clue who anyone is... well apart from the glamour boys in their F1 sounding MCs... I was in the silver roadster with extra exhaust pipes (which cannot be heard on the video :x )

It looks like you had a brilliant day out! I want to come on the next drive in the South / South East. Unfortuntely I couldn't make it because I had a family do.

Pawnsacrifice - good clips! How did you manage to get those at the end, of the wing mirror and rear view? Wing mirror - did the biker overtake>?, you edited!

I can't make it to Castle Coombe because I'm going away that weekend. Well done all for what seems like a great day out in North Wales! :)

Mirror shot... :? Hmmm... can't remember. Ah, can't remember how I set up the bulldog-clip-mount. What I wouldn't have done, I'm sure, is held the video camera out of the car.

Bike did go past - that bit was cut as we entered a 30MPH limit... cut the 30MPHs out. Well, that with about 40 minutes of footage. Kudos on sticking with it to the end of the video
