Nice one didn't even think of that so happy to meet up
P.s will be travelling from Urmston on the Sunday.

I'm in New Moston, north Manchester, so I guess somewhere on the motorway is a good bet as I know Tweed is south Manchester and I think Taz is up in t'hills round Saddleworth way.

No doubt we'll have more of a convoy closer to the time - the Rotherham massive, headed by Ms Barber will no doubt be passing through our manor too :)

Yep ill start a Sheffield convoy soon like last time... Snake Pass or Woodhead again... Decisions!! :D :driving:

I drove back across the Woodhead a couple of weeks back and had a rare journey with no traffic in front of me.

There certainly wasn't much behind me by the end either, a true evo moment :)

On a sunny day, with no traffic, that is one *cracker* of a road.

Came aross this site while looking for info on the Evo triangle.

One bonus you can download a free file for your TomTom which puts the route in your itinery.
There is one for the Llanberis pass as well.

Thought it might be usefull for people so they don't get lost

If I can free up some time that weekend I'd be keen. It's one of those things I probably should do with the car once. As for paid for route plans, no thanks I'm using a map! :driving:

That could certainly work....I wonder if anyone might be coming up from London way....

Damn and blast i'm not going to be able to make it now a complications at work, the friends we were going to visit in Manchester are now having to go on holiday that weekend. As me and my mate both work for the same company and do a similar job(repping)the gaffer doesn't want us both off at the same time so they have had to pull there holiday forward because we are going on holiday the W/end after so now they will be going on holiday on the W/end of the Wales meet :headbang:
mate was well gutted as was i,so plenty of pics please just too see what we missed

So, what's available for accomodations in that neck of the woods? Camping, cheap hotels? I'm undecided on camping again....of course it will probably be lots better an more fun if I'm not sick like the last time.
