North East Runs 21 and 28 September PHOTOS!

Steph and I have been out to make a check on the bridge closure at Wark and it doesn't impact on the route of our weekend Border raid.

So all is well for our 10am start at Tesco's Car Park , Kingston Park, Brunton Lane, Newcastle, NE3 2FP.

Will send my Mobile Phone number to all on the list by pm.

Paul and Steph

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make the run on the 21st Paul due to on going problems with my zed, which haven't as yet been resolved :headbang:

On a positive note though, I will still be attending on the 28th

Hi Nick,

Got your voice message, many thanks. Sorry to hear your Zed's not yet sorted - not surprised you're frustrated and disappointed. Totally with you on this one though - not worth chancing it when your not 100% with the Zed. Hope all gets resolved as soon as possible.

Look forward to seeing you and Lorraine on the 28th. Thanks for the phone call and sorry I missed you.

:driving:

Anyone else fancy a run out tomorrow?
Paul and Steph's runs can't be beaten. They do a lot of research to make sure that the drive is fun, interesting and safe. We are loosing the run season now so get your last few in before the weather turns.

The sun has just come out in Washington, so even though my car has been cleaned ready for tomorrow I'm off out for a quick blast with the roof down. :driving:

Thank you Brian - nice one.

Just spent a few hours getting mine ready too - have heard from Cherrym he's coming - waiting for a response from a text to Chezsherman - he's got a new job and might not make this one - we shall see - and there's Dave1971 haven't heard from yet would be great to see him there.

As Brian said - looks like fair weather tomorrow so get yourself along you'll be made welcome and have a good day.

Thanks again Brian and see you in the morning.

Spent a couple of hours giving the car a spruce up today so I'll be there, I'm not sure if the other half is coming it depends on what the surf looks like.

Just caught this - glad you're going to be there - nice one.

Let's hope the weather stays fine so that we can keep our cars (fairly) clean!

See you in the morning.

Have a great one guys

I have to go coach some rugby - I hate myself for thinking it, but on days like this I'd rather be hooning

Hope you have a good one today, weather's nice up here! No hockey next weekend for me so you can put me down for the 28th, hopefully I'll get to the start point this time!

It was a fabulous run in parts - when the traffic gods smiled on us - mostly in Scotland!

Well that's great news Andrew - will add you to the list and look forward to catching up with you next week!

We all returned to the A69 safe and headed our respective ways home after some fabulous roads. Will down load the few photos I took and add a report of the run tonight.

:driving:

Fantastic run out today. Weather was great and had the roof down all the way.
220 miles door to door on some great roads, the best for me being the 6399 road to Newcastle.

My thanks to Paul & Steph for another great day out. :D

Didn't realise how knackered I was after today's run out. Jumped in the bath for a soak and fell asleep. Woke up in stone cold water. Must be getting old. :zzzz:
