Thanks, is that the White monk in blanchland?
It's all very much if and maybe for us as my daughter will be at week 38 of her pregnancy so we might be "on call"

Hi ronk, Yep The White Monk, The Old School, DH8 9ST. Daughter at 38 weeks - hope you can keep your mind on the driving :D

Can you add me to the list Paul? Going to de sorn the Zed a month earlier than planned so will be able to attend.

It will be its first run out since the Coast & Castles run :driving:

Yep, will add you to the list

Was out in glorious sunshine yesterday on part of that route with one of my sons and two daughters - brought back a smile.

Will there be many other halves going ?

Most of the North East runs are put together with the help of my wife Steph. Getting out in the Zed is our hobby; she is brilliant with a map and I'm lucky in having a wife with a full motorcycle licence who enjoyed our motorcycling days, loves being out in the Zed and spirited but safe driving. So yep, Steph will be there. :D

:driving:

Do you have an approximate time for Blanchland? that's only a few miles from me.

I think we should be there around 11clock. I live at just along from rowlands gill so your more than welcome to meet me in the morning and we can make our way to Kingston park for the start.

Sounds good, I'll confirm closer to the date.

OK, please add us to the list :driving:

Hi,
I may be able to make this, i won't know anyone but hey, can you put me down as a possible please

I have to say that on the route there are some nice driving roads - Being down here in Durham we tend to use them when we pop out for a run.
The White Monk tea room is a usual stop as well

Yep, we were all in the same position when we turned up for our first run and now we have quite a few good friends through the forum - Our NE runs brought together friendly groups last year each time. I'll add you to the list as a possible. (Before the run I'll be sending my mobile number to all those on the list - do send me a text or ring though if you are not coming, to save us wasting time waiting at the start).

Well, we put together some of our favourite driving roads and there will be others you know posted up through the season - Hartside Melmerby, Kielder and Hawick loop - bringing together Z4 owners to enjoy the roads and meet like minded owners. We have coffee stops and a lunch where we can all have a chat. On the roads it's all about the traffic gods and whether we get a clearish run through. We were lucky last year and had a couple of great runs over Hartside and a fabulously clear run around the Hawick loop. But we'll have to take things as they come - we shall see. . . .

There's more than a couple of bikers on this run Mort :D ; the Z4 seems to attract bikers. . . .

:driving:
