North East Meet Sunday 29th of May Buttertubs !!

ok guys so i come home today to find a skip infront of my garage sick as z4 in it so i hope to get it moved tomorrow will update you all

If you don't mate then give me a shout, you can come along for the ride in mine if you like!

If it's not shifted tomorrow then contact the Police, they once nearly had my mate's car towed after he foolishly parked across someone's driveway so they may do something here...

washed it today ready for tomorrow. So it bound to rain tonight :headbang: Not that it matters, looking forward to it.

Unlucky - can't you muscle it to one side by pivoting it? Assuming it's empty that is.

Mines washed and in the garage waiting till the morning - and noticed all the chips I've picked up on the Skye run :(

Great run - thnx dad for taking me!
Now have to sort through all 289 pics and goodness knows how long of video!! :S should be some keepers in all of them! :camera:
will post them up soon :)

Thanks a lot to all. My first meet and it wont be my last. Weather was not good to start but ended great :) Great crowd thanks to all

Fantastic day out guys, really, REALLY enjoyed it!

Looking forward to seeing the pics and video.

The only upsetting thing about the day is that I've obviously tempted fate by showing off my polished bonnet. On the way home, as I was nearly back a rock mysteriously flew through the air and has gouged my bonnet in two places. It's ruined. :headbang:

On the plus side, I'm going on a detailing day in June and will be learning how to paint, wet sand and polish. Looks like I'm gonna need the knowledge!

Yet another great days driving, and once again a big thankyou to John & Tony for the organising .Two new faces to the meets Ian and a late entry from Brendan in his newly aquired M Coupe which he only picked up the day before

The morning session was a bit of a wash out due to the heavy rain,so since i was leading i didn't feel like i was holding anyone back, bit nervous to start with but i enjoyed being the front runner :driving:

The afternoon session was a different story we doubled back the way we came from Ingleton to Hawes then back over the Buttertubs Pass in bright sunshine, dry roads and traffic free
Didn't take many pics but here is a couple.

Just in the process of uploading some video to Youtube will post once done.

Once again thanks to everyone and hope you enjoyed it :driving:

Great day out. Nice to put a face to the usernames. Very welcoming bunch of guys, thanks for letting me join last minute. I think it will be the first of many.

Guiseley, enjoyed following you Ingleton to Hawes, you made some nice overtakes!
I accidentally got some air off the crest of one of the humps trying to keep up with you! :o

Redzedfour, you did a stirling job leading the begining of the day and I think the pace was spot on for the conditions at this point. Great pictures by the way.

Sammyz, hadnt realised you were peeling off on way back, good to meet you and your MR.

The weather came out nice for the way back and Taz and blue got to drop their roofs. both cars looking great, made me miss my old roadster a bit

Blue, really sorry to hear about your bonnet, was it debris in the road or a missile?

All in great day. Thanks to everyone involved in planning and leading group.

Not sure where it came from to be honest! It was only a mile or so from home so it definitely wasn't you Red!

Can't wait to see more pics, keep them coming guys :)

Cracking day - thanks all. The afternoon run through a deserted and sunny buttertubs and stang have to be some of my favourite ever forum driving. Just watched the gp so will attend to photos later.

Pete - 2 taz for the price of 1! With 3 coupes and 3 roadsters showing up - you could have tipped the balance in favour of the coupes 8)

Here's some just off my iphone

Ruth want's this one..

Special thanks to Z4alfie for suggesting the meet and Sammyz for a great tip on the Hawes-Ingelton B road - good bit of freestyle route planning.

Funny moment for me was us showing great faith in our elected leader - right up until he pulled out of the carpark in the wrong direction from Hawes !!

Good god, can you see in my eyes that I'd been up until 1:30 in the morning before this meet? :x

Never mind the Fanta, will be Red Bull next time! :)
