I'll have new wheels and tyres by then, and hopefully have given my car a wash, so she will be looking nice to be in some photos/videos with!

hello i am new to all this, but i have a z4 and i live in middlesbrough and a meet would be brill, i am trying to add a pic on this bit any help would be great.
 
Is Mr. Whippy has gutted a spare backbox by then, ill wanna come up and have a looksie :) Plasma cutter on standby! :P

Put me down as a Maybe (probably!) :D

hi, there is a post in the newbies bit about how to do it.

1. create a photobucket account and upload photos
2. when you see the photos as thumbnails hover your mouse over them and a box appears
3. go to the bottom row in the box - image code
4. copy and paste it in your post and it should appear

Assuming we go then yes, we'll no doubt meet Ed Butler and then all 3 of us can head upwards together and anyone else who wants to tag along :)
Will let you all know soon, i'm away at the end of next month but not sure when i actually go yet so when i find out i'll be certain.

Just found out I should be back on the 12/13th March, so as long as Her Indoors gives me pass out I'll be there. :thumbsup:

Just been told by her indoors we have friends staying that weekend, this could be expensive, I have also been told we are going to the Metro Centre (oh Joy) the day before and she wont take a cheap bribe.
 
Hey richG, where in the northeast are you from? if its near where i potter about il have to keep an eye out for you. i drive past the metro centre every day
 
Damn, had a quick check and Scotch Corner is 180miles+ away for me. Just too far, but for a minute there I was considering driving down to meet you guys because there's no meet action up here north of the border :(

Its about 4 hours for you, straight down the worst bit of the A1, I did try to resurect a Scottish meet but gave up for lack of interest, maybe try again.

Originally Eaglescliffe, about 22 years ago, I now live in Castle Douglas, SW Scotland, via Farnborough Hants, Hinckley Leics and Sudbury Suffolk.
Believe it or not its as quick to get to the Metro Centre as it is to either Edinburgh or Glasgow from where we live, Carlisle is the closest decent town near us.
 
Yeah, 3hrs is a hell of a drive each way, before you even go for the drive out!

I'm fairly local so it's easy for me. I really want to get up Scotland way this summer for a driving weekend... nothing hardcore, just driving around and enjoying the roads. I want to try the A702, and the A9 up through the Cairngorms... fantastic roads... A702 and a stop-over in Edinburgh is more likely than the latter run up the A9 to Inverness though :D

As there are three Z4's in my small cul de sac, I have decided to canvas them for the meet. I will ask them this weekend and see if we can boost the numbers.
