Nordschleife 2012 Accidents

No he hasn't, he's scared of the white stuff! Trying to encourage him to man up and go today (now!)
 
Never going again on a public day after I was nearly involved in this....

Carnage involving the ring taxi and ring corvette.
 
My coupe and mates TVR 350. There'd been an accident on the fast long uphill section after the hotel, cars in the track. People were stopping everywhere as you can see, we were almost first on the scene. Taxi came after and couldn't stop in time, took out the corvette and missed the TVR by inches.

There is a video somewhere where it happens behind a car filming backwards.

We turned round and went backwards around the circuit, it was closed for hours!!

Here it is, fast forward to around 9.30.

There'd been an accident, you see the TVR arrive and pull hard left. The ring taxi then arrives having only just overtaken me, you see it smash into the green M3 plate bmw in sone of the picks before the corvette when the glass flies. I arrive seconds later.

Don't think she does it anymore. Her hotel and the restaurant pistenklause underneath, steak on a stone is fantastic!!
