Embarrassing as this is, I thought I would share a recent accident and see if there is solace to be had by way of me not being the only person something like this has happened to!
My Zed is normally locked away in the garage and we use a pillar nearest the passenger door to rest one of those sodding rotary clothes lines when not in use. So one day, in a hurry to get to something on a shelf at the bottom of the garage on this side, I breezed past the rotary drier, catching one of the loops of the line and turning in horror as it toppled in slow motion onto the door with a resounding dink. Needless to say, it left a very neat and unwanted dent on the otherwise spotless body (passenger door) and me in a seriously foul mood for the rest of the day.
£100 later, a contact who worked at Vauxhall, specialising in dent removal removed all traces of the event, thankfully. Moral of the story - don't be as dull as me and leave things like that which can come into unwanted contact with such a valuable asset as a Z4.
So, anyone else had a similarly self-imposed accident?
Cheers.
