Noise!!!

thx for replaying first of all. well the noises are from plastics... around the front window... from somewhere in the back.... from the seats.... all the sounds are from plastics like my car is 20 years old... but its 10 months old no crases no anything... sorry about my english!!!

many creaks from the the plastics on the base of the seats... creaks behind the rolls... creaks from the windows... creaks from the plastic around the frond window
many creaks i dont know what to do
i love so much this car but i feel veru bad... i cant believe that every z4 has so many creaks and noises like mine...
i want to fix it because i like it very much.... if you help me i will pray to the good for you!!!! :)

lol! darling, if I could fix your Z problems I would, pray for me anyway, I need it  .
Seriously, are you a big or tall man? Having your seat pushed all the way back so that it's rubbing on everything will make some of the noises you described. If you can, tap your seat adjusters just a second so it will give some relief to the areas where the seat is rubbing.
Do you have a coupe or roadster? I can't imagine that noise coming from your front windshield area if you have a Roadster and the top is down - top up maybe..is your top sealing tight (if you have a Roadster).
If it is under warranty I would make an appointment with them and drop off your Z. Let them drive it around and figure out where all these noises are coming from.

sorry we couldn't be more help :( . What's up w/the dealership, have they done something in the past to make you distrust them? Surely they can't be the only game in town?

Yeah about the only easy fix I could think would to not let the seats rub against the back of the car while driving (they will cause noise). Maybe when you figure out where the noises are coming from put some felt or something there.....but that isn't going to look good :( Might be some fasteners loose on the plastics, which would show as a gap in the affected area. Noises are annoying to locate, bring someone with you on a drive so they can look. Don't get me started about that odd whine

I put felt in a few spots to stop the plastic from rubbing together. I now have a rattle, squeak and noise free Z.

I took my rear speaker panels off, put felt on the rim of them and re-mounted them. I stuffed felt in between the two halves of the roll hoops. I took my cup holders out, seperated the two parts that make up the cupholders, put felt in between the two parts and then re-assembled them. Then re-installed the cup holders.

That took care of all my interior noise. :D

how do you get the roll bar hoop plastics apart?

there's a little 'clip' near the center of the top, I think you pop it off and peel the striping down to separate..but I'm no mod-head, lots of others here who are though.
