Been toying with the idea of another set of these for my new car and decided that the style 326 have to go and I need to get a new set of the 405s instead. Would consider a swap for the right wheels and tyres!

HHmmmm :wink: i did have a set of 405s on my silver E89 .https://www.instagram.com/p/Bc3B6ENjwtf/ nice wheels , ive had 3 sets on various Zs over the last 3 years if you are going to change choose wisely , the 326s take some beating

I should never have sold mine with the old car, silly move but hey ho. Not feeling the 326 sadly, or the car in general so hopefully shifting a new set of 405s will change it for me.

£550 set of wheels with £250 worth of tyres for £895 :? not exactly a good deal there , id pass & source the wheels from CM & then rubber them up yourself with something at least half decent , those "Grenlander xl " are about as budget as they come

I can get a set from CM for £480. My current rubber is a full set of RS3 with a good 7mm all round. Could strip them from them from 326 and sell the bare rims for the same.

They're not too disimilar to your vfs34s. Might keep my eyes out for a set of them

Decided to go for the 788s in the end. My rear tyres are 255 so should be fine but slightly concerned about the fronts being 225. Worried they might be a little stretched on the 8.5 wheel..

Although despite not being a fan of the 666m wheels they do look pretty epic in gunmetal!

The fronts will definitely look stretched if you're using a 225 width Tyre.

Here's 225/35 on my old 19'' alloys. I chucked on cheap nangkangs to test the fitment. I believe they are one of the narrower fitting Tyre makes, so perhaps a premium brand may fit a little better? It will still be stretched to some amount though.
