I went to Scotland several times. It rained EVERY time and EVERY day. Only place I've been in the UK where it was 8c at 8.30am in mid July! Livingston, so not exactly 'north', either.

RESULT! you lot are officially fantastic. Amazing. Awesomely superb. Hubby took car to a good well recommended small garage and today they found the problem - hairline crack in rocker box cover. Just what you lot said it would it be.
God I usually hate it when men are right - but not this time :roll: :lol: :thumbsup: :driving:

Although my local garage’s meat n potato diet is sadly abused little run abouts, the owner used to spanner for Porkster, Mercy and Audi..

I gave him the heads up early in the week on what I thought it could be….wish every problem was so predictable to solve..
